Showa Denko Group

Showa Denko America, Inc. is a 100% subsidiary of Showa Denko K.K. which is headquartered in Tokyo Japan. We provide sales and technical service for a wide variety of products produced by the Showa Denko Group.

As a pioneer in Japan's chemical industry, the Showa Denko Group has been offering useful materials and components since the early 1930s when it became the first company in Japan to begin commercial production of aluminum, and ammonium sulfate using the domestically developed technology. We have created a wide range of new products and technologies through interconnections of inorganic, aluminum and organic chemical technologies accumulated over many years. These "individualized" products and technologies - either developed ahead of competitors or where we have the largest market share - now account for about one-third of our consolidated net sales. We will continue to create "individualized" products and technologies, thereby contributing to the sound growth of international society.
