About Partnering for Global Health:

Partnering for Global Health Forum 2011 connects people and ideas to save lives in the developing world and focuses on market-based solutions that will serve the health needs of the world's poorest.

The meeting will run concurrently with the Business Forum, June 28-30, at the BIO International Convention and features partnering opportunities.

Organizers:

The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations.

BIO Ventures for Global Health (BVGH) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save lives by accelerating the development of novel biotechnology-based drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics that address the unmet medical needs of the developing world.

Highlights:

  • Keynote Speaker Announced - Dr. Francis Collins, Director of NIH.

  • Network with leaders from the global health, biopharmaceutical, academic, government, and donor communities and funders supporting global health R&D.

  • Hear the critical debates addressing the unmet needs of the world's poorest.

  • Schedule one-on-one meetings with the many global health innovators who will be participating in the Business Forum at the BIO International Convention.
