Biophysics In Drug Discovery 2015 June 9-12, 2015 Strasbourg, France ( 8:00 am )
2nd NovAliX ConferenceBiophysics in Drug Discovery 2015 June 9-12, 2015 Strasbourg, FranceThe use of biophysical techniques in drug discovery is rapidly increasing, and many pharmaceutical companies have set up in-house biophysical platforms to speed up the target-to-candidate process and improve the quality of small-molecule therapeutics through a better understanding of their interactions with their targets.
However, biophysics for drug discovery had not yet been the subject of a dedicated conference: most of the time, it is the topic of a specialised session within drug discovery conferences, and on the other hand biophysical meetings are often very academy-oriented and rarely extend their scope to drug discovery aspects.
Aiming at filling this gap, the first NovAliX Conference 'Biophysics in Drug Discovery', which was held in October 2013 in Strasbourg, France, was a real success, attracting more than 160 people from 20 countries.
Bringing together the medchem and biophysics communities, the conference, with a 2/1 ratio of participants from industry / academia, was a dense and rich event with lively discussions after presentations, around the posters and during the round table.
The second edition of the conference intends to further develop the synergy between biophysics and medicinal chemistry, which is key to deliver better drugs on a shorter timeline.

The important features of this conference are well organized workshops, events and symposia, Poster presentations and world class exhibits, Panel discussions & interactive sessions, Collaborative Research opportunities. Geology 2015 aims to accelerate the major disciplines and scientific discoveries in the field of Geology. The central goal of this conference is to advance and accelerate scientific research and discoveries in the fields of Geology and Geoscience. This conference will bring University Professors; research Scientists and Students, Eminent Persons of different Geological Association and Societies to disseminate the findings of geological research. It is a Perfect platform for global networking where new ideas and discoveries in the field of geology is its principal objective. Our meeting emphasis on sharing the global networking in Geological community, it will seek opportunities to engage representatives of industry, colleges and universities, and public decision making entities in order to foster financial support for geologic community partnerships which will eventually emphasize how Geoscientific information can prevent or lessen the effect of costly, adverse, land-use activities or reduce devastating consequences of natural disasters. Geoscientists have made significant contribution in understanding the genesis and spatial distribution of resources of industrial and ore minerals, fossil fuels and groundwater. Based on this knowledge several geological, geochemical and geophysical exploration methods have been developed and these are successfully practiced for discovery of earth resources.

Lyophilisation - Europe On June 29-30 2015, London, United Kingdom ( 9:00 am )
Lyophilisation - Europe on June 29-30 2015, London, United KingdomThe global market for lyophilisation is projected to be worth $3.26bn in 2015, spurred by the strong growth of new drugs and efforts to increase clinical approval. Lyophilisation is an established method in the formulation of biological products, and an invaluable tool for prolonging shelf life and stability for biological drugs and vaccines.
As under met needs in drug transport and long term storage continues to prevail, robust lyophilisation methods outlined in PAT and QbD principles as well as alternative technologies will continue to experience strong demand.
This conference will focus on the scale- up efforts in the pharmaceutical industry with key topics in:
• PAT • Quality by Design • Vaccines • Biological drugs • Spray drying In addition, a panel discussion on both days will focus on sale up and engineering issues, highlight new areas of innovation and debate whether small scale results in the laboratory provide realistic results in commercial scale up.
