7/30/03 - ACLARA BioSciences Entered into an eTag™ access agreement with GlaxoSmithKline, under which GSK will have access to ACLARA's eTag Assay System. In addition to ACLARA's custom assay development services, GSK , will also utilize eTag assay reagent products and software for multiplexed gene expression profiling studies.
7/18/03 - Accelrys Has released its first Discovery Studio™ cheminformatics desktop product, DS Accord for Microsoft® Excel. DS Accord for Excel will allow chemists to see, sketch, analyze, and report chemical structures, compound libraries, screening results and other chemical information directly within the Microsoft Excel environment.
7/18/03 - Zinsser Analytic Have launched the LISSY 2002, a modular robotic system that combines sophisticated and flexible liquid handling (incorporating a new type of dosage pump) into a robotic arm, which moves on an x-rail to access the workbench or external modules.
7/15/03 - 4SC and Esteve Announced a collaboration to identify drug candidates directed at targets of CNS related diseases.
7/14/2003 - Caliper Technologies Completed acquisition of the Zymark Corporation which has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caliper and will continue to sell products under its own name.
7/10/2003 - ChemNavigator Announced that its iResearch Library has grown to include over 10 million chemical samples from over 100 commercial, government, and academic supplier sources around the world.
7/7/2003 - Array Biopharma Signed a collaboration agreement with GenPath Pharmaceuticals Inc. to identify cancer drugs that target a novel tumor maintenance gene discovered in GenPath's genetic model systems. Array will receive research funding and receive milestone payments based on the selection and progress of a development candidate.
7/1/2003 - Accelrys The wholly owned subsidiary of Pharmacopeia announced release of Catalyst® 4.8, the latest version of its market-leading rational drug design application for lead identification and optimization.
7/1/2003 - Argonaut Technologies Announced introduction of a new reagent to accelerate pharmaceutical drug discovery. This new resin-bound reagent, MP-TsO-TEMPO enables medicinal chemists working in drug discovery to efficiently introduce diversity into chemical libraries with high purity and superior yield. Results obtained using MP-TsO-TEMPO resin were presented at the Second European Symposium on Combinatorial Sciences being held in Copenhagen, Denmark from June 29 - July 3, 2003.
