Europe focuses exclusively on Screening, being the major Conference &
Exhibition dedicated to bio–molecular screening within Europe in 2004. The
conference features a range of world-class speakers from North America and
Europe. The Exhibition allows delegates to reach and network with colleagues
within the pharma and biotech development community in an informal
environment. Full details are available at www.ScreeningEurope.com
The
conference is organised into four sessions:
Assay Development & Cell Based Screening
The opening session, chaired by Dr. Jennings Worley of Amphora Discovery
Corporation, features presentations on the major themes of Ion Channels,
Kinases, Proteases, GPCR’s and Phosphatases.
ADMET

Chaired by Dr. Frank Bonner of Focus Biosciences Ltd, focuses on all aspects
of ADME & Toxicology Screening from Lead Compound Selection through to
Physicochemical Properties
HTS,
uHTS and Automation
Chaired by Dr. Wilma Keighley of Pfizer, this session covers a vital area
within Screening from Miniaturized HTS of Cellular Assays to Global Sample
Supply for HTS.
Information Technology in HTS
The closing session, chaired by Mr. Chris Molloy of GlaxoSmithKline, looks at
Information Technology for Supporting Screening, along with In Silico
techniques and Approaches to Data Management.
The
high calibre of the presentations will interest a broad cross-section of those
within the industry from R&D directors, HTS Managers and Group Leaders
aiming at breaking bottlenecks through to research scientists wanting to
remain at the cutting edge of this rapidly moving industry.
During
the conference an exhibition displaying the latest technology, instrumentation
and applications from over 25 of the leading names within the industry takes
place. The exhibition offers a great opportunity to examine the latest
products, to find solutions to your laboratory problems and to keep up to date
with the state of the marketplace.
