Peakdale supports its customer’s drug discovery activities by providing custom synthesis, contract research services and unique, patentable, drug-like molecules and intermediates, tapping relatively unexplored chemical space.
The Company achieves this by applying expertise in synthesis together with flexible resources and over a decade’s experience in innovative chemistry, utilising teams of specialists from a range of disciplines.
* Peakdale offers a unique intermediates catalogue constructed using the Company’s extensive knowledge, spanning drug discovery, synthetic, organic, analytical and medicinal chemistry.
* The Company has utilised its novel chemistry and intermediates collection to generate over 8000 lead-like screening compounds, collated and refined from over ten years of R&D. Many of these compounds have progressed through customer’s clinical pipeline and are currently in clinical trials.
* The recently developed Peakexplorer™ screening library includes a novel GPCR targeted range of over 1000 biologically focussed, drug-like compounds. This library was created in collaborated with De Novo Pharmaceuticals, applying their computer aided drug design expertise.
* The Company has built a reputation for delivering exclusive and confidential custom synthesis contract projects to the pharmaceutical industry to support their drug discovery activities. These projects are designed with flexibility in mind, utilising multi-disciplinary teams of experts that can adapt as the project needs change.
Based in Chapel-en-le-Frith in the UK, Peakdale’s purpose built facilities cover 3750m2 and includes parallel synthesis labs, organic research labs, an analytical department and kilo scale up labs.
